We are Amy and Scott Grossman, your Real Estate Transition Specialists. Our team has the expertise and resources to assist those experiencing a variety of lifestyle change; no matter how complex and delicate. Lifestyle changes occur throughout life and today’s market has demanded more assistance, as well as with those considering retirement, downsizing, or looking to move into low maintenance and active adult/age restricted type communities. We are here to help you and your family evaluates your circumstances, determine the direction that is best for your unique situation, and assist in accomplishing your desired real estate goals.

Amy is a Colorado native, born and raised in the Boulder County area. She graduated from Centaurus High School, and went to Fort Lewis College in Durango on a fast pitch softball scholarship as a starting pitcher. She graduated in 1995 with a Major in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology. Amy’s previous experience includes almost 18 years involvement in the law enforcement and physical security industry, stemming from the young age of 14.

Her last position in corporate America was at Janus Capital Group in Cherry Creek, managing their global Physical Security and Safety Department including a staff of 17 contract security personnel and a command center with high end technology. After 4 years with the company and the completion of the new headquarters, Amy’s position was eliminated, at which time she left corporate America and became a Residential Realtor.

Amy has been a Broker Associate Realtor since 2005. Soon after obtaining her Real Estate license, Amy earned her SRES designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) enhancing her expertise in being able to work with a variety of family residential needs, i.e. age 55+, downsizing, retirement communities, and working with those responsible for an estate or trust.

Scott was born and raised in Southern California, but could not wait to go to college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He graduated with a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) in Business Management. He was one of 30 people selected nationally to Sears National Executive Training Program. This took him back to LA, but he really wanted to move to Colorado.

After befriending the HR rep for Denver, he was able to secure a job at the Cherry Creek Sears in January 1999. Other professional experience includes a Production Manager for a software company, back-office support for a physical security company, and recently came from the banking industry as a Branch Manager at WAMU.

These positions gave him the basis and desire to own his own business and when the time was right, and after 5 years at the bank, he joined Amy’s business in 2007 as a Residential Broker Associate, Realtor. Scott also earned his SRES in 2012 to ensure the highest level of customer care for their clients. With diverse financial background, he is able to add much value to his clients and their real estate needs.

Together- The Grossman Team has helped Buyers and Sellers with over 585 real estate transactions, and have been awarded for being leaders/one of the top agents in their office, and with the Denver Metro Association of Realtors for closed sides in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. The team has grown with more support help, with both a full time and 2 part time unlicensed assistants. If you are looking to buy or sell, Amy and Scott are available to help with your Real Estate Needs.
