Gable Crossing - Claremont, CA

Gable Crossing is a 60-unit condominium and townhome community completed in 2021 on the former Johnson Barns property along Base Line Road. Its defining feature is the incorporation of four historic river-rock buildings into the development, preserving structures associated with the site's earlier agricultural use. Century Communities developed the project, which is now a resale-only community rather than an active new-home development. The attached residences include several three- and four-bedroom plans, while shared facilities include a pool, spa and outdoor gathering areas.

Gable Crossing contains attached townhomes/condominiums built primarily in 2020 and 2021. Original Century Communities materials identified four plans, while property and builder records document residences from 1,383 to 2,033 square feet, generally with three or four bedrooms and up to four bathrooms. Two-car attached garages are documented across the community. Original builder sales are complete, so buyers now encounter resale inventory. A 1,828-square-foot townhome sold for $745,000 in July 2026; that transaction is the most recent verified sale found.

Shared facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and spa, barbecue and outdoor cooking areas, picnic space, landscaped common areas and private streets. Current property records also identify a dog park or dog run as a community feature. The original Century Communities site plan identifies the pool, spa and recreation area, while current association records continue to list the pool and spa among association amenities. The development also incorporates four historic river-rock structures, although the available sources do not establish that all four are resident amenity buildings today.

LOCATION & NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

Gable Crossing fronts Base Line Road between Mountain Avenue and Indian Hill Boulevard, with the SR-210 corridor immediately south of the project area. City planning documents identify Base Line Road as a major east-west arterial parallel to the 210 Freeway. Property records place Claremont Village and the Claremont Colleges within roughly two miles, while listing records identify Chaparral Park within about a quarter mile of one residence. The community is also within Claremont Unified School District and has access to the city's broader foothill recreation and cultural resources.
