Area sources identify parks, sports facilities and outdoor recreation around southwest Bakersfield; those facilities are excluded from the community amenity list because resident-only access was not established.

Ashe Meadows is identified near the intersection of Ashe Road and Panama Lane, with Lennar's 2019 Welcome Home Center described as being off Mountain Ridge and Panama Lane. Bakersfield also provides shopping at Valley Plaza Mall and The Marketplace, while Adventist Health Bakersfield operates at 2615 Chester Avenue. Meadows Field Airport is at 3701 Wings Way and provides commercial air service from Bakersfield.
