Our community sits at the gateway of Gorge-Tillicum, one of Saanich’s oldest residential neighbourhoods, overlooking the tranquil waters of the Gorge. To honour the pioneering legacy of this community, the original Craigflower General Store, which became Brookman’s Grocery and is part of residence’s property, is being restored and converted into a special shop. Residents and visitors from the community can enjoy a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and a delicious treat in this unique heritage building beside the residence. Shops, banks, restaurants, and health offices are also nearby. Best of all residents can take advantage of the beautiful seawall walk along the Gorge Waterway which is located just steps from their door; or, simply relax and enjoy the views from the spacious dining room and cozy sun rooms. It is easy to enjoy an active life at our community in Saanich.
