Economy – Ohio was ranked number 2, in 2010, as the best business climate by Site Selection magazine.  The State was ranked 10th for best business-friendly tax systems in 2009, by The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council.  The largest bioscience sector in the Midwest belongs to Ohio.  This state is the largest producer in the whole of America for fabricated metals, plastics, rubber and electrical appliances.

Things to do in Ohio

Ohio is extremely proud of its heritage.  There are many places to visit and things to do that will let you experience this state’s heritage and history.  For example, take a trip back in time and explore the Underground Railroad, ancient Indian Mounds and lighthouses.  There are also many museums, galleries and performing arts theaters that may interest you, if you wished for some entertainment.  The people of Ohio love their sports!  Major league football, baseball and hockey are extremely serious business in Ohio.  You will be able to catch a game during the season, if you are lucky.  Great news is that this State loves not just one sport.  Ohio offers you a number of sports to enjoy.  These include swimming, hiking, golfing, fishing, birding etc.  Ohio is also a state that is extremely proud of their fine wines.  This state grows their own grapes and makes their own wine.  Take a trip from Cincinnati to Toledo to Cambridge, and you will see rolling vineyards all along the way.  Don’t forget to stop and enjoy a taste of wine in Ohio.
