Enjoying the Good Life at the Encanterra Country Club with the Good Life Festival

Residents at the Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley, Arizona enjoy every minute of their retirement years. This is because this is a community that never lets you be idle. Located in the Southeast Valley, less than an hour from downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale, residents at this community enjoy many amenities and facilities that they otherwise would not. For example, take the Good Life Festival that has been happening every spring since 2010. This is a festival that has gained much popularity since its inception. This is where you get to experience gourmet food, wine, beer and various national music acts.

The 20th of April was a great day for residents at the Encanterra Country Club. This was the day they got to enjoy the music of the timeless, international sensation, the Beach Boys. The Beach Boys’ music has been spanning five decades, and it is enjoyed by both the young and the not-so-young alike. With the most number of Billboard Top 40 chart hits; this group was enjoyed by all who witnessed their music on the 20th. Songs, such as, Surfin’ USA, Fun, Fun, Fun, California Girls, Help Me Rhonda, Good Vibrations and, of course, the all-time favorite, Kokomo were some hits that Good Life Festival attendees rocked and danced to. Tickets were priced from $35 to $100 and all who got to enjoy the show and the day claimed that it was money well-worth spent.

The Good Life Festival opened its doors at 12 noon to live music in the Model Home Village with the local band West Hills Brothers. From 12 to 5pm, spectators got to enjoy the sights of some classic cars on display at the Club. Here, spectators got to “ooh” and “aah” over a ’65 Mustang, a ’61 Corvette – Roadster, a ’56 Chevy Truck and a ’64 Chevelle and many more.

There was no shortage of food at the Festival. There was an array of delicious cuisine ranging from burgers to lobsters to BBQ flavors etc. Anything from cheese burgers to fish burgers to bison and pork burgers were available from Burgers Amore. Those who were into a lobster feast were able to purchase succulent lobster dishes from the Maine Lobster Lady’s lobster shack on wheels and smoked meats were available from Tom’s BBQ, and grilled cheese sandwiches were available from the Grilled Cheese Truck.

It was a fun and exciting day for all those who got to enjoy the Good Life Festival.
